There have been many innovations along the way; BAS was one of the founding members of GASA and was behind the introduction of the first computerised Departure Control System (DCS) in the Gulf. It was also the first to create customer service standards in the region, and will continue to insist on providing customers with a service, second-to-none.
The company employs 1,700 staff, mainly Bahraini, in the four main operating departments, management and administration. Staff are highly motivated and have their skills constantly upgraded by some of the most rigorous training programmes available.
