Kuwait Aviation Services Co. ( KASCO )
 In the early 1980's, Kuwait Airways identified a need for separate company to undertake many of its ground handling functions. In addition, the provision of a flight kitchen operating to first class international standards at Kuwait International Airport was seen as essential for the future growth of the airport.
Kuwait Airways therefore established in 1981 a wholly owned subsidiary Kuwait Aviation Services Company (KASCO) to meet these needs.
KASCO GOURMET
KASCO entered in the local catering market in Kuwait for external party services and Retail sales for cakes and sweets under new name called KASCO GOURMET, which is a new definition for food tasters and catering experts.
KASCO GOURMET is another achievement in the field of catering. The idea of this service started in 1987 while providing catering services to visitors and members of Islamic conference in Kuwait.
 The first branch started in KAC Building, which was selling Western Sweets, Cakes and all types of European breads in addition to the external party services.
The second branch opened in Al-Salheyya area in Kuwait city which has got a well equipped and excellent showroom.
Also there is a special office with muli-media equipments which enables the customers to order external parties by selecting the items and type of buffey using the latest technology. We have a plan for expanding our branches in new locations in Kuwait.
A Dream Coming True
 The kitchen established by the newborn KASCO was only the first brick that has grown bit by bit into such a huge company designed especially to meet the needs of its costumers. Today, after twenty years of operation, in addition to its flight kitchen, KASCO is operating Kuwait International Airport’s restaurants and cafeterias, supervising the first class and the business class lounges, overseeing V.V.I.P. services, and managing the food and beverage operation to the airport transit hotel.
 The cafeteria and restaurant sector, which is an important part of the supply department provides its services at several vital locations relying on an administratively and professionally integrated work team, since this sector is more involved with the local market, all its outlets had been furnished with most advanced decorations and equipment to ensure the most ideal and smooth running of business supported by the most efficient work team for both the kitchen and client services, below is a listed of the locations where the services of this sector are provided.

KASCO is particularly proud of its contribution to various conferences that have taken place in Kuwait. In 1987, for example, KASCO supplied Kuwait hosted Islamic Conference with approximately 250,000 meals. In addition, KASCO has supplied extensive food services to the GCC Conferences held in Kuwait in 1986 and 1992.

Since inception, KASCO has been keen to ensure the highest standards of quality in its production, through adopting the latest hygienic methods and techniques according to the highest internationally recognized criteria. To this effect, modern laboratories have been created employing the best and latest hygienic techniques in order to ensure the most stringent conditions in all the equipment used in food preparations as well as the catering crew.
KASCO specialist are closely and actively overseeing production operations, which go through four basic phases, namely supervision procedure for the receipt of raw materials, storage, production systems and operations systems. For this purpose, KASCO has recently embarked on a program of HACCP and ISO 9001 certification to ensure better quality and progress standards. The first part of the progress is concerned with food hygiene from receipt of food materials through preparation and storage to delivery to customers.
 Runway Trafic Services
Runway traffic services KASCO today is not only a catering company with provision of meats and associated services. It has become a landmark of comprehensive and broad services, covering all the needs of international airlines working at. Kuwait International Airport. Therefore, the kitchen, despite its indisputable importance, is no more KASCO's only world. Other services has become equally important and receive equal attention.
 Now the Runway Traffic Section at Kuwait International Airport undertakes aircraft loading and off-loading operations as well as separation of luggage for departure and arrival flights, cargo and mail operations. In addition, there is the Transportation Section tasked with transporting flight crews to and from the airport. There is also the Machinery Operation Section for transporting luggage, passengers and all types of engineering equipment required of the various operations. These actions work in four shifts daily to serve customers day and night, in addition to support shifts peak times and season flights. The highest standards of care and attention are taken to ensure intactness of departure and arrival of luggage
Others Services
KASCO provides all technical and maintenance services for the various equipment and machinery of KAC. Through its garage run by the company, in addition to comprehensive maintenance services for KAC's buildings.
