The Hague, The Netherlands & London, England – Scams have become one of the fastest-growing and most devastating forms of financial crime, costing victims more than $442 billion globally each year, eroding trust across the digital economy, and funding criminal activities.

Today, The Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA)   is proud to announce that Outseer , the leader in all-cause digital fraud prevention, has joined as a Foundation Member, signaling a new chapter in its mission to protect people, businesses, and institutions from all forms of digital deception.

For over two decades, Outseer (formerly RSA) has safeguarded billions of digital transactions from payment fraud. The company has extended that leadership beyond account takeover and unauthorized fraud into authorized fraud, tackling scams that exploit human psychology as much as technology. Outseer’s AI-based fraud prevention platform, behavioral biometrics, global fraud data network, and evolving array of authenticators enable the most comprehensive and agile approach to defense-in-depth fraud prevention.

“Scams are no longer isolated fraud incidents; they’re global, industrialized and swiftly evolving,” said John Filby, CEO of Outseer . “By joining GASA, we are reinforcing our mission to liberate the world from all-cause fraud. Together with governments, financial institutions, and law enforcement, we’re creating the intelligence and defenses that no single entity can build alone.”

Jorij Abraham, Managing Director of GASA , added: “Outseer’s longstanding specialization in payment fraud prevention brings important expertise to GASA’s work. This new partnership is a statement by a world-leading fraud prevention expert that scams are not simply someone else’s problem, but are truly everyone’s responsibility. It reflects the stark reality that fighting fraud requires a united front.”

As a Foundation Member, Outseer will actively contribute to GASA’s intelligence-sharing programs, global research, and advisory boards, helping to shape best practices and scalable controls that address scams at their source.
