About the event

Prof. Dr. Mark Button, Co-Director of Centre for Cybercrime and Economic Crime at University of Portsmouth will speak on "Preventing Frauds and Scams Against Older Adults" at GASA’s Research  Working Group Meeting on 25th April.

This presentation explores the wide range of preventative tools that are used to prevent frauds against older adults. It examines the limited evidence on evaluation of such tools and explores the question of whether high quality evidence of effectiveness is necessary. The presentation then presents a model built upon this body of research for developing a more holistic response to fraud against older adults.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
