About the event

Stijn De Ridder, Commissioner of Antwerp Police, will talk about the ITSME phishing case involving local youngsters in Antwerp and the aspect of cybercrime as a service. The case was solved thanks to public-private cooperation. Stijn will introduce two guests during this presentation: Chief Inspector Matthias Govaerts and Mr. Remy Knecht, CSO of ITSME.

Erin West, Cybercrime and Crypto Prosecutor, REACT Task Force, Santa Clara County will speak about how we can no longer afford to ignore Pig Butchering Scams. International organized crime operating from Southeast Asia is running a massive romance/investment scam stealing billions of dollars from households worldwide. Come learn more about this global crisis and how law enforcement can attack it.
