We are excited to kick off 2025 with the first GASA Oceania Chapter Virtual Meet-Up of the year, hosted by Andrea Leask, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Netsafe NZ on 11th February 2025.

Three Expert Presentations
The event will feature presentations from specialists actively working to prevent fraud and financial crime in the region.
Dr Jed Horner – Regional Policy Manager (Oceania), Trust & Safety, TikTok
Jed will discuss TikTok's approach to preventing scams on its platform.
Matthew David Watson – Regional Advisor for Transnational Organised Crime and Cybercrime, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
Matthew will discuss the UNODC’s efforts to combat scams in the Pacific.
Harry Satoshi – Founder, Cryptocurrency NZ, Crypto Consulting NZ, and the NZ P2P Marketplace
Harry will provide insight into the scams landscape of crypto currency.
