In July 2023, the government invested $58 million in a world-leading initiative to establish and run the National Anti-Scam Centre. In the last quarter of 2023, a notable decline in scam losses reported was reported by Scamwatch. Still, many Australians continue to suffer devastating financial losses, with many scams going unreported.

This webinar, on April 18th from 4:00pm – 5:00pm (Eastern Australia Time – Sydney), focusses on what the new National Anti Scam Centre, banks and commercial organizations are doing to protect consumers in Australia from online scams. The webinar will host the following speakers:

Jayde Richmond, General Manager, National Anti-Scam Centre

Chris Sheehan, General Manager Group Investigations, National Australia Bank

Sean Ryan, Head of Fraud & Financial Crime, Feedzai

Jorij Abraham, Managing Director, Global Anti-Scam Alliance
