Online scams are escalating across Asia, affecting individuals, undermining trust in digital economies, and costing billions in losses. With cybercrime now accounting for up to 50% of all reported crime in some nations, the region faces an urgent call to action.

The Global Anti-Scam Summit Asia 2025 (GASS Asia) unites key public and private sector stakeholders across the region including from Australia, Southeast Asia, and beyond to accelerate joint action against this growing threat. Building on the success of the 2024 edition, the 2025 summit will gather governments, regulators, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, brand protection groups, and cybersecurity leaders to drive collaborative, cross-border solutions.

Over two days on the 2nd & 3rd of September, participants will engage in high-impact plenaries, panel discussions, workshops, and lightning talks covering everything from scam typologies and victim support to cutting-edge AI technologies, data sharing frameworks, and industry coordination. Special sessions will explore regional strategies and Australia’s leadership in anti-scam initiatives, alongside best practices emerging from across Asia.
